My gift card doesn't work or the value is less than promised

After purchasing a gift card from Cardyard you may find it doesn't work and cannot be redeemed, or the value is less than promised. This is very unusual but it does happen. Contact support through chat or send an email to support@cardyard.co.uk. We will start an investigation which involves finding as much information as possible from the retailer, and reporting the issue to the seller. The following are most helpful.

  • Send photos/screenshots of the error so we know the exact problem.
  • Forward on to us all correspondence with the retailer if you have any.
  • Do not write a review about this issue on any reviews platform during the investigation.

We need 3 days to carry out an investigation, but this could extend if the seller disputes the claims; we will let you know. The Ts&Cs say this could extend to 4 weeks.

It should be remembered the gift cards sold on Cardyard come from members of the public, and are discounted. One of the reasons for the discount is to cover the very slim possibility there is an inconvenience due to the card not working, and we are here to mitigate that risk.
